Even when we hate him being the original joiner ;)

Okay, so I didn't draw the picture. I actually found it on a Google image search, and I'm not sure who the original owner of the lineart is, but if I knew I would definatly kiss them for making Raynar look SO INCREDIBLY AWESOME!

So seeing this lineart I just had to color it! And this is what emerged. Just a nice, quick, simple coloring, but I think it does him justice.

By the way, someone ought to tell House Thul to change their family colors...it's nauseating trying to work it so it's not...overwhelming. I tried my best!

Unfortunatly yes, but I prefer to think of our nice slimed out Raynar, pre-crash, just as I like to think of Jacen Pre-JINO. ;)

Poor Raynar...I don't think he really ended up having a choice (re: the crash, the Killiks and all that happened to him...). Again, this is the work of Mazzic, over at TF.N Fan Art Forum: [link] He's doing an entire series of the YJK in a gorgeous "art nouveau" style... **sighs** Gorgeous stuff! You've once again done a great job with the colors in your version, though--quite vivid, and royal-looking (which is in keeping with his character!)!

Mazzic huh? Well I adore his artwork then. It's very magestic! I just couldn't help but coloring it. And I've always loved the colors of the Thul family, and how regal yet...awkward they are when put together. lol. Raynar deserves more artwork though! And more time in the books...but I can't do a thing about that. lol.

Oh, yeah--that guy is GENIUS!! His style in that series is jawdroppingly beautiful--each one looks like a stained glass window! I'm glad I could point you to his gallery there (and check out some of the other artists there too--I haven't posted there for a long time myself, but there are some fabulous artists there!)!
